| Reverse description | The reverse presents a multi-line Nastaliq calligraphic legend filling the entire field, stating the mint name and regnal year of striking. The principal inscription reads 'Zarb Baldat-e Tayyibah Hamadan' (struck in the blessed city of Hamadan), with the AH date appearing in Eastern Arabic numerals at the lower portion of the field. The text is arranged in broad, sweeping horizontal registers with characteristic Nastaliq flourishes and ligatures. A beaded inner border frames the legend, consistent with the obverse design. The mint attribution to Hamadan, one of the ancient cities of western Iran, is clearly indicated as required by Qajar monetary convention. |
