| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Persian inscription in flowing nastaliq script set within an oval cartouche framed by a raised linear border, containing the mint name Qom and the regnal year. Small decorative pellet clusters and foliate sprigs fill the interstices of the cartouche, imparting a characteristic Qajar decorative quality. The cartouche is enclosed by a wide band of raised beads forming the principal border of the coin, consistent with the Type E series struck at the Qom mint during the reign of Fath Ali Shah. |
