| Obverse description | Central field dominated by two registers of bold nastaliq calligraphy separated by a horizontal line, reading the royal legend of Fath Ali Shah. The inscription, rendered in a flowing, ornate style, is embellished with foliate and floral arabesques interspersed among the letterforms. The entire design is enclosed within a rope or cable border running along the inner edge of the coin. |
