Reverse description Central square perforation flanked by seven Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), disposed in three columns reading from the top and descending right then left. The inscription reads 'Ji Quan Chao Yi Qian Wu Fen' (吉權鈔壹錢伍分), indicating the denomination as equivalent to one qian and five fen in paper currency (chao). The characters are robustly cast with clear, even strokes. The plain field and smooth rim mirror the restrained aesthetic of the obverse, consistent with Yuan dynasty monetary conventions.
