Reverse description Reverse displays the Bohemian double-tailed lion passant within a central medallion, executed in the hammered Gothic style typical of the Prague Groschen series. The field surrounding the lion is defined by a toothed inner circle. The outer legend, rendered in uncial Latin, reads ARGENS DVX BOEMIE / REGIS, identifying the coin as Bohemian silver currency. The overall strike shows the broad, thin flan characteristic of Kutná Hora mint production under Wenceslaus IV. Surface patination and wear are consistent with extended mercantile circulation prior to counterstamping.
