| Obverse description | Applied counterstamp of the Free City of Kempten, depicting a crowned shield bearing the city arms — a cross with a latticed or checkered lower quarter — struck onto the host coin's field. The counterstamp is applied within a square or rectangular punch, partially obscuring the underlying Prague Groschen design. Remnants of the original Bohemian legend in Gothic uncial characters are visible around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. |

| Reverse description | Reverse of the underlying Prague Groschen host coin, showing the Bohemian lion rampant to the left within a shield, surrounded by a circular Gothic uncial legend. The lion's mane and claws are rendered in the characteristic stylized hammered die work of the Bohemian royal mint. The flan edges are irregular with minor chips, consistent with the hand-cut planchets typical of medieval hammered coinage. |
