Reverse description Blue intaglio print on an orange guilloche underprint. The British Royal Coat of Arms is rendered in fine engraving within a central oval medallion, surrounded by elaborate lathe-work guilloche borders. Denomination numerals "£1" appear in large script within scalloped cartouches to the left and right, with the legend "ONE POUND" inscribed along the lower arc of the central vignette.
