Obverse description Right-facing crowned and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Raphael David Maklouf, occupying the central field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper left field, with GIBRALTAR continuing to the upper right. The date 2007 appears in the lower right field, and the engraver's initials RDM are present below the portrait. The portrait displays fine proof surfaces with sharp relief and a mirror finish typical of Royal Mint production.
