Obverse description Two classical Hibernia figures in intaglio engraving flank the central vignette, each seated on a pedestal with inscriptions at the base; a frieze of repeated female heads in relief runs across the top border. The centre is dominated by a large guilloche underprint in green with the word ONE in bold letterpress, surrounded by the bank's promise-to-pay text and the branch designation BELFAST, DONEGALL PLACE. The issue date appears twice in red at the lower left and right corners.
