Obverse description Central vignette presents a panoramic view of the Nile with a dam and surrounding landscape rendered in intaglio in shades of blue and grey. Arabic inscriptions appear at the top, including the bank name and promise-to-pay clause, with the serial number and prefix printed in two positions. A large ornamental guilloche rosette to the right serves as the watermark window, with the date and signature of the Governor printed below in Arabic.

Reverse description A Sudanese camel rider in traditional attire is shown in profile towards the right, set against a sparse desert landscape with distant hills, the whole vignette executed in blue intaglio. An unprinted guilloche oval watermark panel occupies the left portion of the note. The denomination inscriptions are positioned in a banner at the top and bottom of the design, flanked by fine geometric lathe-work borders.
