Obverse description Printed in black on a yellow underprint with red serial numbers. Three vignettes are arranged horizontally: a donkey cart scene at left, the colonial ship seal of the Bahamas at centre within a circular guilloche, and a stand of tropical bushes or sisal at right. The denomination £1 appears in the upper corners and the issuer title "THE BAHAMAS GOVERNMENT" runs across the top, with the promise-to-pay legend arching below it.
