Reverse description The reverse features a central commemorative design composed of a stylized pyramid with radiating sunbeams rising from its apex, flanked by an electrical transmission pylon to the left and a lightning bolt or electrical conductor element to the right, all set above a partial cogwheel forming the lower arc of the design. The Arabic legend العيد المئوي للكهرباء في مصر (The Centennial of Electricity in Egypt) curves around the upper periphery. The commemorative dates 1896-1996 appear in Western numerals in the lower central field, with the word ديسمبر (December) inscribed immediately below. The design is enclosed within a segmented decorative border consistent with the obverse.
