Reverse description The central device depicts a stylized Great Pyramid of Giza illuminated by radiating rays of light emanating from its apex, symbolizing the advent of electricity, with a decorative minaret or lamp post motif to the left. A bold lightning bolt or electric pylon element overlaps the pyramid in the foreground. The lower portion of the field bears the commemorative dates '١٨٩٦ - ١٩٩٦' (1896–1996) and the word 'ديسمبر' (December) beneath.
