| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair dressed and adorned with a tiara or wreath, rendered in a relatively small effigy occupying the central field. The portrait is executed in a modest baroque style consistent with mid-18th-century Austrian-Hungarian coinage. A beaded border encircles the coin's periphery. The abbreviated Latin legend runs around the upper and lower rim, identifying the ruler and her royal titles. |
