Reverse description Crowned Transylvanian coat of arms displayed centrally, flanked by the date divided on either side. The shield bears the traditional composite arms of Transylvania: the Hungarian eagle in one quarter, a sun and crescent moon representing the Székely people, and seven towers symbolising the fortified cities of the Transylvanian Saxons (Siebenbürgen). Below the shield appears the denomination inscription POLTVRA, beneath which a small crowned escutcheon divides the mintmark letters of the Sibiu mint.
