| Obverse description | At center, the State Emblem of the USSR rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, featuring a globe flanked by wheat sheaves bound with a ribbon, surmounted by a five-pointed star. Below the emblem, in the lower half of the coin, the denomination inscription ОДИН ПОЛТИННИК (One Poltinnik) appears in two lines within a recessed rectangular panel. A circular border legend reads ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ ЛЕТ ЖИВУ В КАЗАНИ (Fifty Years Living in Kazan), interrupted at lower left by the MasterVision mintmark МЗ with the date 24.05.14, and at lower right by the MMD mint logo and the fineness mark Ag 925.
