Obverse description Central field bears the interlaced royal cypher 'GR' (Georgius Rex) surmounted by a royal crown with distinctive arched top. The monogram is rendered in an ornate calligraphic style occupying the majority of the flan. Mint official's initials 'I.W.S.' appear in the lower field beneath the cypher. No peripheral legend is present; the design relies entirely on the crowned monogram as the primary device.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description The reverse displays the denomination numeral 'I' at the top of the field, surmounted by a small cross finial, serving as a dividing device. Below, three horizontal lines of inscribed text read 'PFENNING / SCHEIDE / MUNTZ', identifying the coin as a Pfennig Scheidemünze (small change coin). The date of issue appears in the lower exergual area. The lettering is bold and deeply struck, occupying virtually the entire flan with no peripheral legend.
