Reverse description Five-line inscription centered in the field, reading the denomination and monetary designation across successive lines. The numeral '1' appears at the top, followed by 'PFENNING', then 'SCHEIDE-' and 'MUNTZ.' on the third and fourth lines, with the date '1814.' at the base. The bold, upright lettering fills the flan with no surrounding border legend, presenting a purely typographic design characteristic of Hanoverian subsidiary coinage of the period.
