Obverse description Facing crowned bust of Duke Ottokar II, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner, with spread wings or wing-like extensions flanking the figure on either side. The effigy is shown frontally with a simple crown atop the head, the overall design rendered in the crude but characteristic high-relief style of 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The figure occupies the full field of the flan, with no legend present.
