| Obverse description | A fleur-de-lis occupies the central field of the obverse, rendered in bold relief in the characteristic Viennese Pfennig style. The design is unenclosed by any border inscription, consistent with the aniconic, emblem-only format typical of 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced deniers. The flan is irregular in outline, as expected of hammered coinage of this period. The surfaces show natural wear and patination consistent with medieval silver circulation coinage. |
