| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a pearl border following the coin's perimeter. A raised inner pearl circle encloses the large numeral '1' at center, denoting the denomination. The circular legend surrounding the inner pearl ring reads 'TH. BAUCH NACHF.' at the top and 'OSCHATZ' at the bottom, separated by a six-pointed star on each side. The overall design is utilitarian and typographically plain, consistent with German private emergency coinage of the World War I era. |
