Obverse description Crowned ornate cursive monogram 'MC' (for Moritz Casimir) rendered in an interlaced Baroque calligraphic style, occupying the central field. The monogram is surmounted by a comital crown and flanked by elaborate foliate scrollwork. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner circle and a finely toothed outer border of radiating denticles.
