Obverse description Central field displays the Urach hunting horn with a looped hanger composed of pellets, the device flanked by the initials L and H positioned to either side. The entire design is enclosed within a circle of pellets. The striking is typical of hammered billon coinage of the late sixteenth century, with an irregular flan and shallow relief.
