Obverse description Frontal facing bust of the Duke in high relief, depicted in a hieratic, Romanesque style, with a beaded or pellet-decorated crown and elaborate collar. The figure holds a sword in each hand, raised to either side, with the arms and sword hilts rendered in a stylized, architecturally symmetrical arrangement. The bust is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a border of small stars or pellets arranged around the outer rim of the flan.

Reverse description Two heraldic lions passant or displayed, rendered in a bold Romanesque style, positioned atop a pair of arches. Beneath the arches, a small facing bust or head is depicted in the lower field, likely representing the Duke or a symbolic motif. The design is contained within an irregular flan with no outer legend, characteristic of early 13th-century Bavarian bracteate-influenced coinage.
