Obverse description Central field displays the crowned Habsburg coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing the Austrian fess and the Burgundian cross — set within a lozenge-shaped (diamond) frame formed by raised lines, the whole surrounded by a beaded border. The date is divided by the shield, with the numerals '16' appearing to the left and '67' to the right. A small crown surmounts the top of the lozenge frame. The composition and style are characteristic of the small hammered silver Pfennig coinage issued under Emperor Leopold I.
