| Obverse description | Crude hammered field displaying a stylized Gothic letteral or heraldic device in raised relief, characteristic of late 14th-century Bavarian bracteate-style pfennig coinage. The design is rendered in a highly schematic manner typical of small hammered silver issues of the Leuchtenberg Landgraviate. The flan is irregular and slightly squared at the edges, with moderate wear obscuring finer details. No legible legend is present on this face. |
