Obverse description Within a plain inner circle, a panther passant to the left in high relief, rendered in the bold, somewhat schematic style characteristic of medieval Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The animal displays prominent haunches, a raised forepaw, and an open mouth, consistent with the Styrian heraldic panther. The field is unadorned, and the flan exhibits the irregular, wavy edge typical of hammered coinage of this period.
