Obverse description Shield bearing a stag passant to the left, the animal rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of late medieval German bracteate-influenced coinage. A horizontal bar or antler motif surmounts the shield at the top. Small rosettes are positioned to the left and right flanks of the shield as well as above it, serving as decorative field ornaments. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or rope-pattern border. The coin surface shows the irregular, slightly concave fabric typical of hammered silver issues of this period.

Reverse description Blank, with no design, legend, or decorative elements, consistent with the uniface or near-uniface character of this type of small hammered medieval pfennig. The reverse displays only the rough, unworked silver surface resulting from the hammering process.
