Obverse description Central field displays the crowned arms of Reuss-Greiz, featuring a heraldic shield bearing the dynastic lion passant of the House of Reuss. The crown surmounts the shield directly, rendered in relief against a plain field. The design is unadorned and typical of the small copper coinage of the minor German principalities of the early nineteenth century.

Reverse description The reverse bears a plain five-line Latin inscription arranged horizontally across the field, reading the denomination and issuing authority. The text is clearly struck in block capital letters and occupies the majority of the flan. The date appears in the lower portion of the inscription, beneath the abbreviated mint and authority references, consistent with the standard layout of Reuss-Greiz copper pfennig coinage of this period.
