Reverse description Central field displaying a stylized cross or heraldic device, executed in a rough hammered manner consistent with the small denomination and period. The motif is surrounded by a beaded circle, with a peripheral legend in uncial Latin reading MONETA · DAR ·, an abbreviated form of Moneta Darpatensis, denoting the coin of Dorpat. The lettering is somewhat irregular and partially merged with the inner design due to the limitations of the hammered technique. The flan is thin and uneven, with the reverse showing typical die wear and misalignment seen on Livonian episcopal pfennige of this era.
