| Obverse description | The obverse is enclosed by a continuous pearl border running along the inner edge of the rim. The issuer's name arcs along the upper periphery reading 'F. & R. FISCHER', separated from the lower arc 'GÖPPINGEN' by small decorative bullet stops at each side. A six-pointed star ornament appears at the top of the field, flanked by the peripheral legend, and a matching star ornament is positioned at the base of the field. The two-line central inscription 'METALLWAREN- / FABRIK' occupies the middle of the flat field in incuse raised lettering, presented in a plain, utilitarian sans-serif style characteristic of German industrial notgeld tokens of the World War I era. |
