Reverse description Two heraldic shields displayed side by side, divided by a vertical line: the dexter shield bears the imperial eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, and the sinister shield depicts the diagonal bend of the Nuremberg civic arms. The date 1610 is struck in the upper field above the paired shields, with the mint initial N positioned in the lower field below. The reverse design is essentially identical to the obverse, a common feature of small Pfennig denominations from this period, struck in gold as a presentation or pattern piece.
