| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large pointed shield bearing the raking fork (Rechen) charge, a heraldic symbol associated with the Bishopric of Würzburg. A cross pattée appears above the shield at the crown point, flanked by two rosettes at either side. A small pellet or annulet is visible at the center base of the shield. The letters B and N are placed in the left and right fields respectively, serving as mint or administrative marks. The coin is struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of late 14th-century hammered pfennigs, with no surrounding legend. |
