Obverse description Central field displays the arms of Hungary — a vertically divided shield bearing alternating horizontal stripes — rendered in low relief typical of hammered Saxon pfennigs. The shield occupies the majority of the flan, with a crenellated or beaded border surrounding the design. The surface shows the characteristic irregular outline of a hand-struck small silver coin of the early sixteenth century.

Reverse description The reverse displays the Saxon arms — a field divided per fess, with a rampant lion or similar heraldic charge — struck in the hammered technique with evident die curvature across the flan. The design is enclosed within a beaded or toothed border consistent with Albertinian Saxon mint practice of the 1530s. The low-relief strike and irregular flan edge are characteristic of this denomination and period.
