| Obverse description | Central field features the civic arms of Crossen (Oder), depicting a crenellated city gate with two flanking towers, each surmounted by a conical spire, with a fleur-de-lis and an eagle displayed within the gateway arch. The arms are rendered in low relief with fine architectural detail. A continuous legend encircles the central device, separated from the octagonal border by a ring of raised pellets.
