Obverse description Central field displays the quartered arms of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, depicting alternating fields of eagle and sceptres rendered in crosshatched relief, surmounted by a princely crown. The shield is flanked on the left by a palm branch and on the right by a laurel branch, both springing from the base and framing the arms symmetrically. The coin is bordered by a fine milled or beaded rim. No legend is present on the obverse, the heraldic composition filling the entire field.
