| Obverse description | Crowned coat of arms of Brunswick-Lüneburg displayed on a pointed shield, featuring a rampant lion amid an arrangement of heart-shaped charges on a semé field. The shield is surmounted by an elaborate crowned helmet with decorative mantling. The flan is irregular and characteristic of hammered coinage, with a border of raised pellets partially visible around the periphery. |
