| Reverse description | Two facing heads in profile confronting one another, separated at centre by an Austrian heraldic shield (fess) and a fleur-de-lis (lily). Above the heads appear the Gothic capital initials A and B, attributed to Duke Albrecht II, though these letters may be partially or fully off-flan on weakly struck examples. The design is executed in the bold, low-relief hammered style characteristic of Viennese pfennig coinage of the second quarter of the 14th century. |
