| Obverse description | Central field displays a stylized rose composed of concentric circular rings, characteristic of the heraldic rose device associated with the County of Barby. The motif is surmounted by a small crown rendered in low relief. The overall design is executed in a crude, provincial hammered style typical of minor German States coinage of the early Kipper period, with an irregular flan edge. No surrounding legend is present on this face. |
