Obverse description Printed in blue ink on grey-beige paper, the obverse carries a circular stamp-type vignette at centre consisting of a heraldic shield bearing the numeral "1" over the denomination abbreviation "Pf.", flanked by stylised sunburst or mace-head ornaments. The circular legend around the vignette reads "SIEGEL DER STADT" at top and "FRIEDRICHSTADT" at bottom, separated by asterisks. The overall design is letterpress-printed and replicates the official city seal.
Obverse lettering SIEGEL DER STADT * FRIEDRICHSTADT * 1 Pf.
Reverse description The reverse is printed in a deeper blue ink on the same grey-beige paper stock and repeats the circular city-seal vignette: a crowned heraldic shield with the numeral "1" and "Pf." abbreviation, enclosed by the circular inscription "SIEGEL DER STADT" above and "FRIEDRICHSTADT" below, with asterisk separators. The impression appears slightly stronger in colour than the obverse, though the letterpress design is identical in composition.
