Obverse description The city arms of Regensburg, depicting two crossed keys beneath a small decorative ornament, are displayed centrally within an ornate cartouche. The date is divided and positioned at the top of the field, flanking the upper portion of the arms. The coin features a reeded border running along the entire circumference. The overall design is rendered in a simple but bold relief typical of small German civic coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.

Reverse description The denomination inscription is displayed across two lines in the centre of the field, enclosed within a wreath of stylized leafy branches tied at the base. The legend reads 'PFEN NING' in bold capital letters, divided across the two lines. A reeded border frames the entire reverse, consistent with the obverse treatment. The design is characteristic of the plain civic coinage produced by the Free City of Regensburg during the mid-eighteenth century.
