Obverse description Central field bears a large crowned Gothic letter 'E', the initial of Einbeck, surmounted by an open municipal crown rendered in relief. The monogram is flanked on either side by the split date numerals. The entire central device is enclosed within a border of large raised pellets arranged around the periphery of the irregular flan, typical of hammered Pfennig coinage of the early seventeenth century.

Reverse description Plain, uniface reverse with no design, inscription, or device, presenting a flat, unworked surface typical of single-sided (einseitig) hammered Pfennig coinage of the period. The irregular flan edges are visible, consistent with hand-cut planchet preparation.
