| Obverse description | The obverse displays the civic arms of Ravensburg: a three-towered castle or city gate with crenellated battlements, rendered in relief at the centre of the field. The numeral '4' appears above the central tower, and the date is divided on either side of the castle, with '16' to the left and '95' to the right. The entire design is enclosed within a rope or beaded border running along the coin's rim, characteristic of small German municipal copper coinage of the late 17th century. |
