| Obverse description | Two conjoined heraldic shields occupying the central field, the left bearing the arms of Lübeck (a double-headed eagle or city gate device) and the right displaying a hatched or diaper-patterned shield, separated by a small central orb or pellet. Above the shields, the legend NSP is struck in bold Gothic characters across the upper field, with the date numerals partially visible in the lower field. The design is characteristic of late 16th-century North German hammered minor coinage, with irregular flan and flat relief typical of the period. |

| Reverse description | Two conjoined heraldic shields in the central field, mirroring the obverse arrangement, with the Lübeck civic arms on the left and a second shield on the right, flanking a central pellet or orb. Partial date numerals appear in the upper field above the shields, with additional numerals or mintmaster marks in the lower margin. The flan is irregular and the strike is characteristic of hammered billon pfennig coinage produced at the Lübeck Mint during the late 16th century. |
