Obverse description Two facing heraldic shields displayed side by side in the center of the field: the dexter shield bears the imperial eagle of Nuremberg, and the sinister shield displays the distinctive Nuremberg city arms featuring a crowned eagle. Below the shields, the last two digits of the date appear in Gothic numerals within the lower field. The design is rendered in a bold, simplified hammered style typical of late medieval German municipal coinage.
