Obverse description The municipal arms of Ravensburg displayed on a shield within a beaded inner circle: a crenellated tower above a central horizontal bar, flanked by two column-like pillars, all rendered in a bold Gothic style typical of late medieval south German civic coinage. The shield occupies the central field and is surrounded by a prominent ring of large pellets forming the border.
