Reverse description The reverse is essentially uniface, presenting a plain, flat, and largely featureless field with only faint die marks and surface irregularities resulting from the hammering process. No design, inscription, or device was intentionally struck on this side, consistent with many small medieval Pfennig issues of the period that were produced as bracteate-style or semi-uniface pieces.
