| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield quartered with a golden key between two coastal promontories, a royal palm tree, and horizontal stripes representing the sea, surmounted by the Phrygian cap atop a pole and flanked by an oak branch to the left and a laurel branch to the right, with two five-pointed stars at either side.
