| Obverse description | Dark blue-grey note with the title LA TESORERÍA DE LA PROVINCIA DE ENTRE-RÍOS across the upper centre, below which the place and date of issue reads 'Concepcion del Uruguay, Marzo 1°, 1876.' A circular vignette at upper left contains a portrait of a cat, while at upper right a second vignette shows a bell tower or similar architectural motif.
