Reverse description A Phrygian liberty cap rests at the apex of radiating sunbeams, the entire device flanked symmetrically by sprigs of oak on the left and olive on the right, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The rays emanate dramatically from behind the cap, filling the central field in a bold, primitively engraved style consistent with provisional revolutionary coinage. The mint identifier GRO. and gold fineness designation ORO: 0.300 appear prominently in the upper central field. The circumferential legend REFORMA. LIBERTAD. JUSTICIA Y LEY encircles the design, and the date appears in the lower exergual area. A beaded border frames the entire reverse.
